Texas-grown Petit Verdot that opens with blueberry, vanilla bean and a whisper of pencil shavings. The palate is concentrated with dark-blueberry and black plum over cocoa nib and a hint of espresso. Firm, fine-grained tannins and lively Texas acidity keep it taut, finishing long with a graphite-vanilla echo.
Plush and generous, this Texas High Plains Tannat opens with black plum, black cherry, cocoa dust, sweet tobacco and a hint of nutmeg. The palate rolls in dark and velvety – plush fruit, cola root, dried fig and a whisper of mocha.
